“My optimism wears heavy boots and is loud”.
What is there to say about boots that hasn’t already been said? Well, to start with, they are the most underrated fashion accessory; the shoe’s younger, single, sister who is just happy being who she is and working it with everything she has. Do not sleep on the boot -she’s fire and you had better recognise!

I, sometimes, wonder if the first person to put on a pair of boots felt they were about to embark on an adventure. I, certainly, do. When I get my hands on some gold, knee-high boots, watch out because I am going to be absolutely unbearable!

If you’re not a fan of the ubiquitous cowboy boot, I’m sorry but they seem to be sticking around for yet another season. Most of this year’s high-street cowboy boots are not as costumey as before and are actually quite wearable on a daily basis.

A colourful ankle boot can revive a tired, old outfit and give you a retro feel. That pop of colour on your feet can breathe new life into outfits which have become your standard winter uniform. Your leggings and jumper combo will thank you.

I usually wear a slightly heavier boot with a delicate dress during the warmer months because it makes me feel a little bad-ass. If you want to add a little edge to your style then you’re in luck – grunge and punk boots are trending this Autumn/Winter, so whip out a pair of tights and don’t retire that floral dress just yet.

A good pair of boots will elevate your outfit and make it look a lot sleeker, which is exactly the point of them – to level you up without even trying.
